Mistakes that Can Be Avoided By an Air Conditioning Agency!

Mistakes can be committed by anyone and AC repair agencies are not an exception. It doesn’t matter how experienced the agency may be mistakes can happen when least expected and as result it may impact performance and efficiency levels of the AC unit. Such mistakes may even hurt customer feelings and impact the business of the agency. Here is a brief of popular mistakes as committed by an air conditioning agency:

a) Not focusing on the air flow
Typically, all ACs comprise of three major parts namely the compressor, a condenser, and what is called an evaporator. It is imperative that all three major parts are in workable order lest the AC would seize to work. Even the most experienced professionals forget to check the air flow and lock up the unit and charge the customer for the work they have done. If the air flow is not adequate then it may take hours for the room to cool down to the temperature as set on the unit and a lot of power gets consumed in the entire process. Most of the air flow is controlled by the compressor and the cooling fan. This is why it is essential that both these parts are working in synchronization.

b) Overlooking other aspects essential for cooling
Yet another mistake that usually an air conditioning company tends to commit is that the professional forgets to check for other aspects that may impact the cooling of an AC. This could be key elements like not proper insulation, small openings through which the cool air can escape and/or not proper air sealing. It is also important to advise the homeowner of how they themselves can improve the cooling effect and ensure less power consumption. Even small things like keeping the door and windows closed could have a good impact on the cooling and reduce the power bill.

c) Skipping essential calculations
Technology has advanced in many ways and so has the make and quality of air conditioners. In case a homeowner is using an outdated or several years old air conditioning unit, chances are that the AC repair agency would just mend the machine, charge and leave. As a result, what happens is that may be after some time the unit again requires repair and/or does not offer much cooling and the homeowner would blame the agency for the poor work.

As a professional air conditioning agency, it is always best to inform the homeowner about the liabilities of having an out dated AC unit, what would be its impact on the power bill and what may happen in the near future. These calculations may change the mind of the homeowner and thank you for your suggestion and who knows... maybe he or she would want to purchase a new AC unit.

d) Trying to portray of being the lowest bidder
Being a low bidder is not bad but bidding the lowest and then not delivering quality services just because you want to make up for losses would have a bad impact on your business. At times, you would want to hire an inexperienced person to carry out the job and that can also have a negative impact on things. So, it is best to bid to that extent to which you can still deliver quality services and earn some profit. Try not to race to the bottom and become a loser as it would have its own ramifications.

Conclusion
As an air conditioning Mesa agency you would need to make the right choice. One path may lead to issues and the other to satisfaction. You constantly need to look for new customers and can only build your network through reputation, hard work and quality service.
